Pre-purchasing guild wars 2 allows access to the game's beta. Although many of you don't care or have even heard of this game, I just wanted to warn those who do care or are interested.

IDK, they've been having beta weekends for a month or so now. I don't think there will be an actual full beta where you can play until a few weeks of the full game coming out however there will be just as it says on the GW2 pre-purchase website "access to beta weekends".
As far as the release date goes I don't think they ever came out with one yet. BUT, the release is basically guaranteed to come out early July if not mid June.

Ahh yeah, ii haven't been able to get into a beta weekend yet. I didn't realize the release date was so soon, i thought they said late this year.

guild wars 1 is the only mmo i ever played, bought this and its pretty good. I think I like guild wars 1 better though. The thing I dont like about this is that each weapon class has 3-5 skills and you cant change them.
