sooooooo glad it's a san andreas one. hopefully this will top the original san andreas, but probably not because the protagonist sounds white.

accidentally deleted my 99% complete san andreas file. this is how frodo and sam must have felt when they arrived at the black gate but were forced to turn around.

what i do know is that there's going to be a bigger variety of music, the ability to mod cars(like in san andreas) and the map is going to be kind of like san andreas but not as big.

Sort of disappointed that they didn't show anything off at E3? Is there a release date yet? If not, I wouldn't be surprised if it just got pushed back.

Doesn't say too much but at least we know it's gonna be big.

I really liked the ability to buy houses in the games, but it'd be cool if they take it to a new level. The ability to buy a house, customize it, and run like a criminal empire from it.

Rumor has it that you can buy properties then sell them as the prices increase. Prices of food/clothes and properties will change as the amount of criminal activities in that neighborhood changes

This game sounds exactly like the game I've been dreaming of. I just hope you can customize your character (but going off GTA history you probably won't be able to). Either way I way too hyped up on this game!

Go to gamestop and get GTA IV: Liberty City Stories. It's literally 3 games + endless hours of dicking around online all for under 25 bucks.

Agreed. I just started playing it over on the 360. Its crazy to see the graphics and game play from way back then. GTA V looks awesome. It better come out soon!

My absolute favourite thing was the dodo plane in gta III. It wasn't supposed to fly so it was super hard to take off and keep it in the air. But once you got it going it was fucking awesome. You could visit the rooftop gardens where a bunch of the cutscenes for some of the missions take place, go behind the mountains to see the little city where the first cutscene of the game is shot and a bunch of other shit. I actually downloaded a mod on pc a while ago that let you visit all the cool hidden shit without having to try forever to get there with the plane. It made it so that there were a bunch of sketchy staircases to get to the rooftop garden and these sketchy blocks of highway to drive to the hidden city behind the mountains. He also added colliders and everything so you could actually walk around everywhere.

they have that in mafia II which is a neat feature but the hit and run becomes a piss off when every time you bump a car near a cop they chase you.

anyone got a dl for san andreas? i had the CDs for it but then i lost them. now i'm using another computer and don't have it :( i'd love to mess around in SAMP again.

one thing i did all the time in san andreas was go to the top of the highest building in los santos then use cheatcode to get a car or a tank then drive off the roof. fun as hell. the flying car cheat was awesome too.

watchdogs is probably a similar game but the driving physics look so bad from the trailer

There are further rumours suggesting that the map for GTAV will be five times that of GTAIV's Liberty City. To go with this massive new map are more features:
Cops will chase speeding players
Players will need to wait 24 in-game hours for low wanted levels and 72 hours for higher wanted levels
The multiplayer will hold up to 32 players on the PS3 and Xbox 360, no information on the PC yet
Multiplayer will feature gangs
Gang activities in multiplayer will reward reputation with missions varying from robbing laundrettes to military bases
There will be a full working economy where the player can buy and sell drugs, cars and weaponry
Radio stations will have real time traffic reports to assist the player

i personally think it will be very annoying having cops constantly chasing you for speeding. any word on if there will be cheats? wanted level down cheat will be very important if you can't speed.

The best cheat ever in San Andreas was definitely infinite ammo. Dual-wield sawn-off shotguns + infinite ammo = the best gun ever.

am i the only one who doesn't want all that much customization?

Clothes/outfits, cars and being able to buy houses would be nice. But beyond that, I could care less.

It's a video game...I don't want to have to spend 20 minutes a day working out and eating meals.

Same with the friend activities. They're fun, they should be an option, but made far less frequent. why did i spent half my time in gta iv hauling my fat cousin around to go bowling or play pool? These aren't things i want to do in real life, let alone a video game.

I'm so stoked for gta V. I've been checking rumors EVERY DAY for months. I grew up with San Andreas and it was the best game ever made. And I have the feeling dis gun be awesome. I just hope it follows San andreas' footsteps, huge map and lots of customization, and so far it looks like it will. Apparently set out to come late march/April. HYPE HYPE HYPE
