Hey all,

Selling my flycam as I no longer have use for it. Used for about 8 months; condition is 8.5/10  with just some minor aesthetic damage (Functions exactly as intended) . I'm looking to for $100 shipped Canada or 100+ shipping to the US (paypal only)

-extra weights/screws

How are these compared to glidecams

IMO they function just as well as any glidecam pro model, with a slight difference in build quality. Honestly, if you have the $400+ to spend I would look at the HD series.

Their quality control is much worse. A common problem is that they will not remain as-balanced when you rotate it about its post axis. The first one I got from them had this problem (something was wrong with the bearing obviously), but they sent me a new one which didn't have that problem. I had to pay for the customs however (from India to Canada).

I've used it (a Flycam Nano, not the DSLR one) successfully with a 7D and a 16-35mm, and it worked fine as far as I was concerned. I'd just be hesitant about the bearing giving out, or not rotating as smoothly under that load. Would I swing it around as aggressively as I might with a Glidecam? No
