whats a good beginner longboard or does it even matter what you get at first if not what are some sick  bords

I just started out with a sector 9 board. its called jakes complete. its pretty sweet because it has 2 kingpins and it turns sooooooooo nice

Those are called Gullwing Sidewinders. They're pretty cool but they don't do anything except carve. Alot of sector 9 comes with them. OP, do you live in a hilly area? That should influence your decision, as should what type of riding you want to do. Slides? DH? Freeride? Cruise? You gotta give us some more information. And to answer your question, The first board matters a great deal because it's what you get your first impression of the sport on, so might as well get something that is worth spending money on

Then I'd recommend something a bit on the stiffer side that will be at least somewhat stable on hills. I'd say Earthwing Supermodel or Landyachtz 9two5. The Kracked Skulls Scimitar may be a good fit as well

No, Pintails are pretty much useless unless you want to look like "surfer"

Im selling original s10 longboard trucks and they are 250mm very long and they have a spring action so insane for carving, but at the same they dont get speed wobbles because the spring keeps them in place so if you are interested chat me and we can work out a deal... they were originally 72$ but ive wriddle on them since november 2011 so im looking to get around 45 to 50 $$$$$ for them and they are in very good condition thanks!

Original makes quality boards for carving and freeriding. The decks are have alot of flex and the trucks are springloaded. There not the best for downhill though.

Forget buying a cheap sector 9 or other boards in that price range, you'll want a new one eventually.

Comp a BC eel and that extra money will last you alot longer and you'll be pumped to have such a dope board.
