No, im pretty sure files are placed in a lot more places than just the program files directory when the program is installed. But go for it

It depends. What is the program? Does it run through anything else?

it probably won't work.
you need to be able to install the program on the other computer, so if you have the orignal file... not the installed program file, like the original file where when you open it up, it is an installer... then it would work.
