Ns,
I'm thinking about buying a pair of full tilt tom wallisch 2012 model. i have super bad shin bang and a wide ass foot. it says that it has a 99mm shell and i think my foot is larger than than. does this really matter or can i just get it heat moulded out if its necessary. i also heard from some guy that they say its 99mm but it fits wide feet easily?
i know that i could buy the booter...but lets face it. it looks like shit

let me know cause i have some one hold for super cheap!!!

I would go to a boot fitter first. As one of the common problems with full tilts is peoplethink hey are the answer to all boot problems. You pointed out they have a 99mm last and you have a wide foot chances are that won't work, some people in your situation would then go out and buy FTs in a bigger size which just brings back problems such as shin bang and will also make you ski worse. If you go to a bootfiter and get the boot that fits you, you wot get shinbang and you will ski much better. Boots are your most important piece of equipment don't buy them because they are cheap

yeh i can see where your coming from.....its just i did go to a boot fitter and get some that 'fit me' and they were technic a agent 90's.....although they turned out to be shit house, like I've never experienced so much pain in my life.....worst shin bang ever. I'm still recovering from it now! i also got the right size and everything, loosened the boot and got a booster strap...tried everything.

Well then your4 problem is teh boot fitter not knowing what he is doing, did you even get any footbeds with them.

Dont think that full tilts will make it better, chances are for you thery will make it worse.

You need to try and find a good boot fitting shop. This probably wont be your favourite core little shop, it will more lickly be a race shop or good all round shop. Have your feet looked at, get some footbeds made then try on the boots the fitter recomends. You could even take your current boots, he may well be able to make them fit, but there probably too big in my guess. Technica have a highinstep, I would guess you did not get a foot bed, your foot is pronating, leaving a gap between the instep of the boot and your foot. When you lean foward you hit the front of the cuff, instead of flexing it. This is what about 80% of shin pain comes from.

the booters or try the high five, personally i think this years twalls are really ugly, but thats me, the high five are more expensive, but look pretty sick (murdered out)

fair call fair call. the only problem is trying to find a quality fitter in Australia is ridiculous. your correct, i didn't get a foot bed. do you suggest thats the first thing i get? will it truly make a huge difference?

Footbeds will always help, but they may not solve all boot issues if there are other things going on. You need to try and find someone to look at them who know what there doing. Do you ever travel away to ski, most resorts will have at least 1 good fitter. And I know there are a few good shops in Melbourne.

im just gonna post.here cause i dont feel like makeing a thread. but i got full tilt booter about a size to big will heat moldong them solve this problem?
