Ugly songs

I'm putting a portfolio together for university and have done some midi work for my portfolio. I'm trying to get it out to as many people so I can get some criticism in order to improve my work. I would appreciate it if you guys listened to my songs and let me know what you think.

Shimmy Oscillator was honestly pretty good, although I wasn't a fan of the funk one. It felt too jumbled and not funky enough. Listen to some modern disco perhaps?

Also, try recapitulating with more of the elements in Oscillator. It felt a bit too progressive, in the literal sense.

Thanks for the reply, I'm probably going to scrap most of these songs. I might try to work on oscillator, there's some sounds that I feel haven't really been taken advantage of.

There pretty good man! I was not digging the funk one but the rest were good! Keep it up man! one more thing on shimmy oscillator mayby try beefing up the drums with some light compression with a fast attack and fast release!
