Salomon Skis is RACIST!

I have always been a huge salomon fan but is this ABSURD! In light of the Treyvon Martin shooting, Salomon decided to release their new Suspect model skis... this is disgusting and flat out insulting to the black community and hoodie-enthusiasts everywhere.

This is an outrage. I cant believe how insensitive a major company is about an event like that. They need to act more professional. This is the ski industry, they need to act more professional. they are not professional

Just because the guy has a hood up dose not mean it has to do the the killing or racism, your just dumb, the skis were most defiantly designed before the killing and it have nothing to do with it. I mean sure Trayvon's death is super sad and sucks but the media is blowing this case outa proportion people need to stop all this crap nobody knows the actual FACTS yet.

i guess i agree and it isn't but as a lot of people said here the ski was probably designed a while ago, so means before it happend. But then they should have probably reconsidered to bring it on the market.

I see where you are coming from OP, it is pretty frustrating to see salomon release the graphics for a ski called the "suspect" with a hooded figure on them, when Trayvon Martin was killed because he was wearing a hood and because he was african american, and the neighborhood watch guy that shot him "suspected" that martin was up to no good. I don't think that salomon meant for these graphics to be racist, because they were designed a long time ago or to honor Trayvon.

I have no idea if this is a troll thread but isn't it racist to imediatly assume that the person on the ski is black just because he's wearing a hoodie and called a suspect when you clearly can't distinguish a race from the picture at all...
