For future reference: when a certain supreme hoodie releases do they actually cost $200 or are they like $100. Do they cost $200 because they are sold out, limited release etc...Thanks for all legit answer K+ will be rewarded like usual.
Just a question for all the people who hate on the quality and durability of clothing companies: what the fuck do you do to your clothes that you need them to be so incredibly durable? I have regular old t-shirts from PacSun that I've had since high school, and while they're tattered and thinned out, I can still wear them. I just don't understand the argument: "OMG, for that price, the clothes should be fucking bombproof!" You're paying mostly for the name; however, as much as you want to hate, the quality probably IS better than most of the shitty shirts you buy from PacSun or anywhere else. I'm not really sure where I'm going with this post, but I don't get how kids can hate on the quality and durability of clothes unless you're rolling around in dirt and rocks and actively trying to destroy your clothes.
I suggest you up your class in girls my friend, it's all about dressing nice and standing out from the crowd. A lot of girls care what they ware, how they look, and how they are presented to others, and a lot of guys do as well. My GF knows what supreme is, hell she even bought me a hat for my birthday, and I receive compliments on the way I dress, unlike fiends of mine that rock the same shit that everyone buys in the mall.
can this thread die already, if you like street wear then you understand how much things cost and are fine with paying for something not many others will have. If you don't care how you dress, then stop complaining about how much something costs that you are NEVER GOING TO BUY.
YES the vast majority of street wear brand's quality is better then normal shit, it is also produced in smaller amounts, and costs more, get the fuck over it
For a $15 t-shirt I'm not about to complain that it's still wearable 8 years later. Kids act like a shirt is going to fall apart if it's not made of the most super duper ultra high quality fabrics like zomggg.
Haha come on, we're talking about t shirts here. I mean, if you're talking about dress shirts, yeah, there's definitely a difference. I have $200 shirts and $50 shirts and there is a CLEAR difference. However, I also have $60 t shirts and $10 t shirts and the difference is so minimal you can barely tell. Don't kid yourself.
The majority of those shirts that I looked at have a horrendous pattern that completely clashes with the rest of the shirt, essentially making the entire shirt ugly. They just don't look good...at all.
god damn they are just shirts, and i don't see what makes them so attractive to you. the pockets are too low first of all, I'm not even going to point out the rest.
private company, they charge whatever they can, and for some reason people buy these maybe $50 dollar hoodies for like waaaay more than they are worth.
have you ever seen one of their hoodies in person? everyone assumes they use cheep stuff when most of you have never even held any of their products
i have read in multiple places that their blanks run in the $85 range to begin with, PLUS they are made in canada and not china which obviously drives the price up. Don't talk about things that you don't know about
yeah when I was in the Supreme Store in L.A. although one of the shirts was $72 the cotton was thick as fuck and amazing. Their quality is under-rated so if you haven't held their shirts/sweaters/hats then don't judge
no they dont cost $200 if its just a simple sweatshirt, they have a very high resale value. camp caps are $55 shipped (just bought the green one off their website) and resale for twice that.
Might have to do with the fact that I'm still in high school, and live in a small town far from anybody with any real fashion sense, but I'm willing to be I'm the only person in my entire school who knows what Supreme is (granted it's a school of 350 people).
Yes girls like when you dress nice, which is why I put much more time, money, and effort into my clothing than most guys I know. But imo brand matters much less than getting clothes that fit well, and work well together. Of course, rocking a bunch of Wal-Mart shit or the brands everyone else is wearing makes you look bland, but the difference between wearing say Diamond Supply Co. and Supreme is very little in the eyes of most girls. Worrying solely about brand is stupid.
I'd like to mention, however, that I'm not anti or pro Supreme - just thought I'd state my opinion about the matter. I've yet to hold a piece of Supreme clothing, but I'm hoping that changes soon.
