"bump" is a term for "bumping" your thread to the top of the forum. Threads are updated in the list of forums according to most recent posts, so bumping your thread to the top brings it to the top of the first page and makes it more noticable. you dont have to say "bump" to bump your thread. any post will have this effect.

that said, this post will bump your thread to the top of the non-ski gabber forum
