there pretty different the stepups are stiffer for bigger jumps and not washing out. afterbangs are a jib ski basically designed to beat up and would not hold up well on jumps as well. if you like a stiffer ski and lean toward jumps the stepups if you like to butter and like jibs afterbangs are the ski
i agree id say go for the afterbangs though unless your hitting like 40 plus jumps. they should hold up. even though there flexible they have a solid underfoot (86mm i think) which gives some stabilitly just dont land to far forward or back and youll be fine. but id for sure go afterbangs
