Great review Ski Monster! But I do have to take issue with the 'goth' mention:)

When I hear Goth, I think of Marilyn Manson kids from back in the day dressed all in black, wearing giant and eyeliner, cutting themselves at night with razor blades to dull their depression. Kind of like Juggalos without a love of shitty rap.

We wanted to take a real life powerful predator animal from B.C. and make it all badass and evil for his pro model. Definately more of a a rock album art influence. The eagle works perfect with Sean too since he seems to be in the air half the time going down the mountain.

Hope you all get to ski the Pettitor. It's a damn fun ski Sean created!

there were a few different protos with different tips and tails floating around, and it was just a quick look, not sure if they were exactly lined up and all that, but the difference was not very big

How stiff are these? I'm a big dude (6'4, 210lbs). Trying to choose between these, the ak jj and the opus.

i flexed them yesterday, imho, just another noodle ski from K2, and with ur stats i wouldnt but any of thse skis. get surface newlifes or something actually stiff

They are slightly stiffer than the ObSethed if you had a chance to get on that. Softer than the new Side Seth from K2. Not as stiff as the Line Opus.

If you want a ski you can shred really hard especially at 210 lbs, but still have fun all over the mountain trees, steeps etc.. go with the Line Opus.

Yes, the Pettitor is a stiffer torsionally and a more energetic feeling ski, making it very all mountain friendly for something 120 underfoot
