at my mountain, ropes mark "extreme danger zones" and its completely ok to duck em. Once your in one though nothing is marked off, and there is some pretty hairy shit.
that's awesome terrain, i thought there was just a small glade between two runs but once you ducked the rope it looked like a whole different place on the other side
i did it second run of peak being open, there was definitely a traverse line but it wasnt very chopped up down there. It was nice and smooth in the chute, and its so filled in now that its not all that narrow, you really just gotta hang on to some serious speed and youll be good. Got pretty hairy towards the bottom just because of the speed and i got a little bit backseat, thought i was gunna loose it coming out of the chute, but then i just carved pretty hard to the right to ditch some speed as soon as i popped out. I think its pretty safe to say it was the fastest ive ever gone on a line.
