i just bought a new pair of armada ar5 180's and am looking for boots to go with them. i ski big white b.c. and many other mountains around. i have been a big mountain skier forever and am pretty new to newschool skiing. i still want a boot to take me everywhere but something soft enough for the park. i was thinking of salomon x-wave 9.0. i would appreciate feedback thanks

1080s
have had em for 2 seasons now and no complaints
make sure if you get them though that you tighten the power strap enough - otherwise some people will say they get shin bang, but ive never had the problem

the 1080 would be too soft for what you are probably used to skiing. i have the x-wave 8 as well and love it. i ski the whole mountian and i mix in a lot of park. i love the boot
pray for snow

^ that's a good point, if u were looking at the 1080s look more at the pro model, its a little stiffer
