Girl retracts FALSE rape accusation, TEN years latter.

In 2001, An 11 year old girl, Cassandra Ann Kennedy, accused her father of rape. He spent the next ten years in jail.

Now she says she made it up.

Professional feminist bitch Sue Baur, who also happens to be the local prosecutor, has decided not to charge the 23 year old, stating that charging her would 'discourage' girls from reporting sexual assaults.


This is a prime case of the lack of accountability for women in our society.

The story is so fucked too. I Can't even imagine the shit someone who is accused of raping their daughter would be put through. Plus i can't think of the kind of person who would rape their own daughter, do those people even exist?

And couldnt they have looked at her fucking hymen? No way her cherry is popped at 11.

The fact that nobody has picked up on this lie makes me wonder if anybody actually read the article.

The article gives a more reasonable explanation: "Prosecutor Sue Baur said charging Cassandra Ann Kennedy of Longview might discourage others who might have lied in similar situations from coming forward to tell the truth."

If not for the fact that she was 11 when she said it she would probably be going to jail for perjury. It's not so much a matter of "feminism" or whatever so much as... well how the hell do you prosecute an 11 year old? Her age when she did the thing is what actually counts.

That said I'm confused how this guy got convicted in the first place. The word of an 11 year old was adequate proof on its own? Usually they'll do a rape test, won't they?

Anyway her punishment should be that everyone she knows has to know about this and judges her for it forever.

However it will also encourage women to make such claims because in the end, after a man served years in prison because of your lies, nothing will happen to you.

No, you get punished severely for being convicted of rape, it's a pretty godawful thing - and while lying about it is also pretty godawful I don't think under the circumstances it warrants, I dunno, the death penalty or whatever. Hence I think her having to live with everyone knowing what she did is appropriate.

Thing is one of the worst parts about being convicted of rape is the stigma attached - when you get out, it doesn't matter. Nothing else you do or did in your life matters. You are a rapist and that's it. Similarly, this is what this girl's life is about now. She's 21, so she gets to live with that for a long damn time.

However, people still have to worry about being charged with perjury at the time of the lie, which is when most perjury charges occur anyways.

I agree with the prosecutor. This allows people to right their wrongs without having to worry about criminal prosecution. Very few people would fess up to lying if they knew they would go to jail for doing so.
