Armada AK JJ, are they worth it?

I love armada and I'm thinking of buying some Armada AK JJ's. Are they worth it?

dont just get them because u "love armada" but i have the JJs and absolutley love them, never tried a ski i like better and i imagine for bigger guy the ak jj would be even better, you wont regret your purchase if u buy these skis in my opnion

Well how big are you? Height? Weight? Skiing level? Big mountain charging? Powder? Ratio of the two?

I'm 5'11 155 and still growing fast, I'm a expert big mountain skier and have recently gotten into heli skiing this season

You can also try something a bit more directional. Check out the Norwalk for next year from Armada. It's like a fatter TST ADHD would kill it in big mountain

Yeah I've considered that but I already had a pair of park skis and If I'm not catching the deep powder I'm in the park, so I would really like a full rocker big mountain ski

I have the AK JJ and absolutely love them.

So much float, and they just want to go fast. The bigger turning radius is much appreciated, especially if you know you're going to consistently be getting the deep shit.

That being said, given your height, you might just wait until fall and demo a pair of the Magic J 190s. A few of my friends were lucky enough to try them and had nothing but good things to say about them. Sounds like Armada finally made a ski to appease all the haters who claim they didn't have a powerful enough big mountain ski.

If your buying jjs then no I would buy them now. I really find it hard to believe you need more then the ak jj at your stats and that you ski at Breck. I prefer a shorter ski at Breck since it is easier to move threw the trees.

I'm from Break, thats not all I ski, I travel for powder a lot, as in Alaska, Silverton, Jackson Hole, BC but thanks for the help

you really wouldnt need more then the ak jj.

i said earlier about the on3p cease and desist, i have never heard a bad thing about that ski.
