Replying to Never fly with emirates airlines with your skis

i purchased a flight from manchester to auckland for £450 one way, i was told skis would be free to take on, now ringing to confirm that before i fly in may, they have now changed policies and am looking at extra baggage charge of £800 to get my skis on the plane

i'm currently looking into freight to get my skis out there (anyone shipped skis to new zealand?)

what a joke of an airline company this is, could fuck up my summer plans this year for good
