Getting alcohol for avicii in new orleans

So im going down to New Orleans for a weekend with my brother to visit my mom. We're going to Avicii while we're down there but I don't have any way to get alcohol or anything else. I'm 19 but my brother is 17 and I don't have much confidence ill be able to get my mom to buy us a fifth knowing our plan is to binge drink it before a concert.

I'm thinking my options are:
Steal it. I don't like stealing at all it makes me feel terrible.
Shoulder tap. Sketch balling I haven't had to do this for like 4 years.
Bring it in my checked luggage? Will I get fucked for not being of age?
Start networking hard and find someone who has a brother or cousin or something that would hook it up.
Buy molly after I get in.
Use spring scholarship money to buy a fake id.
Makes friends in the hotel lobby or something and convince someone to help me out. This is the only thing I want to do but it seems pretty unreliable...

so ns any ideas? or was this a waste of a thread...

well now that it was brought up i thought molly was supposed to be "pure" mdma,  while x just means it's going to be cut with meth or coke or lidocaine or some gross shit...

irregardless im not trying to get hard drugs down there.

I think the best bet is to ask my mom and tell her ill only drink in the hotel and that im just gonna try and buy it if she doesn't get if for me.

you can drink at certain bar in new orleans without getting id-ed. my dad sent me up to the bar (it was 3 deep up there) and i got 4 beers and 3 shots without even question from the bartender. I'm kinda leaning towards go down there and try some shit. dont shoulder tap though thats dumb as fuck

if you find a gas station in the middle of no where tell them that you left your id at home and just ask if you can buy it... worked for me

also one of my friends has a fake borat id and he tried to use it to buy alcohol once... it acutally worked... he filmed the whole thing too pretty cool

It's pretty crazy.  I've been here for a couple years and been to some shows all over the US and just assumed it was readily available in other parts of the country.......ya not so much.

Its really not too hard to sneak shit thru security or check it in your luggage

Cigs are legal, even if you're under 18. Op if you take water bottles and fill them up with clear vodka you should be okay. If you want to go the extra step, look at this video:
