No where did anyone claim that a .onion domain made it apart of the deep web. Your statement is irrelevant.

most definitely, swim says.... you just have to be smart about it. i recommend trying to find domestic sellers so you dont have to deal with customs. be hesitant buying shit from flagged countries such as china or the netherlands. learn how to encrypt your shit via pgp; although tor and silk road claim that addresses are already encrypted and deleted right after they have been used from the server, it does not hurt to beef up your privacy. all sellers will have feedback so its pretty easy to pick out the good ones. when exchanging your money into bitcoins (hands down the hardest part) be as discrete about it as possible. i recommend get-bitcoins.com and buy prepaid debit cards, you have to physically send them to them, however you do not need to use your actual information. if you live in a city and a chase bank or bank of america are around you can do cash deposits with them, and i think you can maybe moneygram them. avoid using fake names and what not for shipping.... mail fraud is a felony and in most cases its better to get a small drug possesion charge then that. so with that being said, have it sent to a friends house or po box or something. remember anyone can send anyone anything in the mail. like most rewarding things in life, there are risks involved. but again thats just what swim said.....

I have these same regrets every day. It pleases me that btc is relatively stable now, because I don't feel like I'm missing out anymore

I probably would have cashed it out after the first spike. Or the first time my bank hit 0 during college. Its really hard to say how long I would have truly held on to this first investment.

I went ahead and put 100 into a few of the other up-and-coming altcoins just incase.
