The style safety grab

Hey, I was just wondering if someone could explain this to me. So it seems like a lot of people are into the safety grabs that Phil and Henrick do quite a bit. I just wanted to know why everyone thinks this grab has so much style. What about it is so cool? Because when i see them do it, it just looks like they throw their hand to the side and that safety is the easiest thing to grab. It seems to me that they try so hard to have style that they compensate their takeoffs and as a result they don't have full control of their trick and they have to throw their hand to the easiest place in order to get a grab.

CORRECT ME IF I AM COMPLETELY WRONG PLEASE. I AM ONLY SHARING MY OPINION. ALSO, I WAS JUST CURIOUS WHY PEOPLE THINK IT HAS SO MUCH STYLE. NO HATE. THANKS

They kinda tweak it our really weird, it looks cool to me. Just because it is an easy grab doesn't mean it doesn't look good.

Your opinion isn't wrong. Your'e entitled to it, and I respect it. Personally I think safetys are super sick because the skis stay parallel to each other and when you're off axis and its tweaked or poked out it looks super clean. B-dog and E-dollo are really good at high safety and tweaking it out, I enjoy the trick alot and I think that its sick. It takes some skill to be completely upside down in a dub rodeo while crouching and keeping your skis together while tweaking it out.

yea, what they do is not easy, and i dont know what you mean by they are not in control on their takeoff, they clearly are. I love those grabs but you have to be able to tweak them really hard for it to look cool.

a lot of easy tricks are considered stylish. for example, you gotta love a really big switch 5, but its not like its a super hard trick to do.

LOL, tweaked safety at :45, except this shot doesnt do it justice, i tweaked this grab to get flat on my 3's
pros doing this maneuver in future spins is what makes it whack,

i think mutes are easier than safeties in certain tricks, sometimes blunts too even.

a tweaked safety is like the skiing equivalent of a method, which looks pretty cool if you ask me. I also think that it is an easy grab to hold onto for a long period of time which makes it look good in tricks.
