I am 15 Years old about 5' 10" 165 lbs living in the midwest, I've sorta got my ski choice between the 2011 blends and the 2012 t halls. I spend most of my time in park and some groomers but if i get the chance ill spend a whole day in the pow, i was wondering which one i should get and also which one is softer.
I think I would go for the t hall just because I wouldn't want my everyday ski to be the blend. If I'm correct they have a fair amount of rocker. I mean if your skiing pow like two or three times a year I have would just get the park ski and deal with the powder with the t halls
I don't think either one is to say 'stiff' but I have this years thalls and they are just a playful, flowy ski but I have a pair of powder skis also so I don't know how they perform in powder conditions. If you skiing mostly all park and a few as in 1-3 powder days, go with the thalls, you won't regret it!
i ski my blends as my 100% park ski. If there is pow though, i go hit the pow instead. they slay park just as hard as a normal ski. The rocker is not noticable in the park in terms of chattering. The width makes them wicked stable on jumps and sooo playful thanks to the rocker and softness.
