Greatest video game of all time

What do you all think are some of the greatest games of all time.  Personally id say Halo 2, Zelda Ocarina of Time, and obviously the best game is Super Smash Brothers for N64.  Also, Tom Green.Click for larger image

War game: BF3

Scifi: Halo: Combat Evolved

RPG: Any earl zelda game plus twilight princess. Also skyrim is up there too.

Racing game: Forza motorsports 4

Action Sports: Skate games

Music games: Rockband series.

Sandbox games: Minecraft

Simulators: Flight Simulator X.

Thats all i can think of now.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is probably the best ever, I mean that game was so fucking fun and still is to this day, the story was just brilliant.

Golden Eye 007 basically started the FPS craze for console gaming and was fantastic, and was the start of screen peaking wars with your buddies haha.


for me the best of all time is Call of Duty 4....it was the first of the call of duty franchise to be Modern Warfare and it took call of duty to an entire different level, unfortunately I have been disappointed with the new installments of it but that is to be expected, its the same with Halo.


In a way this is hard to judge because opinions will vary over generations of gamers, 20 years from now, Halo/CoD will be complete memories, and there will be new titles that are better, hopefully virtual reality gaming where its like we are actually in call of duty.

Super Mario World, Goldeneye 007, Star Wars Battlefront and Super mario galaxy 2 make up the rest of my top 5.

ocarina of time is up there, when it comes to single player games for its time. it was straight up revolutionary.

goldeneye too. shit was madness.

world of warcraft when it first came out (vanilla and BC) were insanely fun, but sadly those kind of ridiculously time consuming games are just bad for your..... life. but it was and probably still is one of the top mmo's of all time.

the whole battlefield franchise was amazing. 1942 was a ton of fun when it first came out, and all the versions that followed. battlefield 2 was probably my favorite of them, and probably my personal favorite computer game ever. not too time consuming, a lot of fun, great to play with friends without being too stupid and competitive. just an overall good time.

a few of the final fantasy games were loads of fun (7, 8, 10)

fucking guitar hero too. that shit was the centerpiece at many drunken parties. so fucking fun.
