haha nah, i chilled with some nsers out there for like 3 or 4 days, it was pretty fun. definately was a good feeling when the callout actually worked. the park kids were pretty cool, but the general community was weird.

so basically gapers = cocksuckers, but theres no surprise there

"The term Champagne Powder snow was coined by Barney McClean in the 1950's and was adopted and trademarked by Steamboat Resort 2010 to describe the light, dry quality of the snow in Northwest Colorado" -From Wiki.

I guess they have a legal claim, but still a very low move on their part.

Well compared to most other resorts in the region it is flat as fuck. Your only decent steep stuff is out of bounds in the fish creek area. In bounds you have nothing thats steep and sustained. Everything up by the chutes out to east face is like 500 vertical feet of moderate steep and ends dead flat. I will say there are some fun trees. But, after the corporate shenanigans they pulled I will be in no rush to go back there given that over all it is a very mediocre mountain.

Thanks bio....Also remember my opinion is from my ski club visit back in 1985. I lived in California until I was 32. So, I am actually a west coast skier stuck in Ohio!! Talk about flat!!
