It'll be big but not humongous. If you want it fitting very technical, go large. If you want it baggy, go XL. The XL will probably be a little past mid thigh on you.
I'm 5'11, almost 6'0, and had one of this year's XL Anomies. It went down to about mid-thigh if not a little lower, and it fits pretty baggy. I have since gotten a Large as I like the more technical fit better (it goes a few inches below my waist). It comes down to preference. If you want a more fitted look and functionality, go with Large. If you want the cinched, baggier look then definitely go with the XL. Both are great, it's up to you. Also look at the sizing chart on their website and do the measurements on yourself (zipper length and chest width) to get a better idea.
I'm 6' / 6'1 . The Large will be a more standard fit on you. The XL will have a baggier fit for sure and go down to around mid thigh. They aren't super huge jackets so even with the XL you'll be able to easily move around in it and won't hurt you when it comes to hiking, skinning or whatever you're doing.
I'm exactly your size. Xl, when cinched will be mid thigh. Pretty baggy. I went with a Large and it's about 3/4 thigh. Not really baggy but a Pretty good medium between Steeze and technicality IMO.
