yeahh. like not to be concided i think im a decent looking kid but like twice a month break out fairly bad and in these like bad 2 weeks i dont wanna be seen by anyone and just feel depressed and like shit. When im not broken out im so confident with girls and everything just with acne i loose it all. fuck get off my face
yeah im 19 and dont really have it on my face anymore unless i dont wash my face at night / some cleansing shit on it. And now luckily i am a man so the hair on my chest covers the acne lol.
biggest thing ever. i know guys with more than "mild" acne who kill it with the girls because they dont let it bother them. confidence can completely outweigh acne
Studies have shown that you can greatly reduce your acne by putting a CLEAN towel over your pillow each and every night. Watch when you touch your face. If you're sitting in class cross your arms instead of slouching wit hyour hand on your face. Don't put your cell phone directly on your cheek. Little stuff like this can actually do some work on bad acne. good luck man its a bitch but it will only be bad for a little while
Girls hate acne, its worst than guys, So imagine how much we hate to see on a guy !!
It may sound weird , but if you have acne and invite a girl over and she sees that you have facial products for it, it may counter that effect. Girls do like guys that take care of themselves, secretly of course.
Used to have that cunt of a thing when i was 14 then went on roaccutane fucking cleared that shit up in 2-3 weeks but u get dry as cunt lips and skin but that beats a face of acky
get on that acutane! only downside is you can't drink for like 5 months but i heard it completely gets rid of it for goood. my friend did it just this year but missed out on an awesome 5 months of partying during college! haha
accutane fucking works. i had terrible acne my freshman and sophomore years and took claravis (rebranded accutane) and it worked wonders. the only side effect is hella dry skin. then as soon as i was off it my skin was back to normal and acne free. i find myself to be much less self-conscious and more outgoing now. that shit works wonders.
don't touch your face ever ever ever ever. use moisturizer more than you think you should; it's better for you in the end. I think that eating fatty foods every now and then is normal and necessary for overall good health, just wash with soap and water so it isn't on your hands.
don't you abrasive/bacterial fighting face washes. This sounds totally oxymoronic, but think about it: all the exfoliants are good for removing dead skin, but they also put on a stress of irritation to young skin below that layer; you can just scrub you face in your hands to remove the dead cells.
Furthermore, that added stress, plus the chemicals, kills bacteria. Picture your face as an ecosystem of good and bad bacteria, which are there, if you apply a bunch of acidic chemicals that are typically in acne medicine, you will kill all bacteria on your face. This means that there is more competition between good and bad, and good usually is better at it given its own natural playing field.
Also, don't pop that shit unless its gross white head status. It's better to leave it be or else you'll just exaggerate the inflammation and make a big red spot on your face worse than it was.
Yes it works, but there can be some pretty serious side effects. Accutane messed my sister up so bad that it changed the way she tasted things for several years. It fucked her up. There is a reason why you see commercials for lawyers talking about accutane: it can be dangerous.
I would go to a dermatologist and get on a regiment. Accutane should only be used as a last resort imo.
Man I don't have it too bad right now but until the summer comes and clears it up I have a noticeable amount, fuckin espicially bacne, can't get rid of that shit.
i used to have fucking terrible acne. i had a chinstrap of acne. i tried seriously everything. the only thing that worked for me was acutane. so glad i got on it because after about 4 months i was acne free. i have been for 3 years now, having a clean face is really nice.
I had bad acne since i was 13 or so, now im 24 and I had tried everything. About two years ago I started accutane and god damn, that shit works amazing! It has way more side effects on women than on guys. I just had dry hands and arms, but I just drank hella amounts of water. I still get the occasional pimple, but its gone after a few days. Go see a dermo and talk about your options.
From grade 6-10 I had the worst acne in my school... I would shower twice a day to try and suppress the on slot of red bumps that would attack my face day in and day out. It was brutal, the whole depression and not wanting to go out in public.. yea I know how that feels. I would fake sick to stay home because some days I just couldn't handle it. I tried it all, clean & clear, proactive, special face cleansers. None of it helped. THE ONLY THING that helped was minocycline. With in a month my face was clear. Shit worked like magic. The best part? I don't have acne anymore.. like not a zit to be popped. Go talk to your doctor about hooking you up with it. You're not supposed to use tanning beds and drink on it but I did both anyway. Anyway I hope this helps.
It works wonders, consider it, but strongly consider the side effects. I took it more than a few years ago and only felt mood changes. It definitely fucked with my emotions, but I'm glad I went through with it. For me, it was just doing a mental check, sitting at my desk, breathing deep and relieving stress. I knew that it had the potential to make me really emotional... turns out it just made me pissed. I definitely recommend it if you can control your emotions - it does work.
I have it too. Hate it so much. Went to see a doctor about it and now I take these pills (tetra-something) twice a day, and have a cream I use once a day. It works, but it's insanely slow. I'm better, but not good, and it's taken 6 months so far.
I would but every time i grow out a badass full blown beard all the girls i talk to tell me to shave it. I personally think it looks dope but girls tend to disagree :/
Yeah it sucks, obviously, but its just something that happens to people your age. I had terrible acne too and I looked like a shitface leper, but getting 'depressed' about it helps noone.
youre in highschool/first year w.e, its not that big of a deal and alot of people are facing the same thing.
I did accutane. For 5 months you have the most annoying chapped lips (not to the point of bleeding but they're just always dry it kinda sucks), and in some cases your eyes dry up so they give you eye drops. But damn does that stuff work.... haven't had issues in a year.
I used to have some pretty bad acne in grade 11. I started taking accutane but it really fucked with my body but during that time I just stopped giving a fuck about it bringing me down and once i did that it didn't really affect my social life anymore. having more confidence even with a bit of acne got me way more hoes than being a pussy with acne. my face is handsome as fuck now tho.
