Last Friday, There was a very tragic mid-air collision between two planes in Longmont, CO. 1 survived, 2 did not including a student and flight instructor. Unfortunately, the flight instructor was also my flight instructor. I've spent nearly 50 hours with this guy in cramped in a small plane. He was truly a great man, who loved to fly and spread his knowledge and love of flying onto his students. He left behind his family and his wife, getting married just over a year ago.
So keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. And anyone else who are pilots on this page, be careful out there and look out for other planes.
