hey, i'm looking to purchase new skis but i'm stuck between the armada ar7 and the salomon suspect? looking for reviews, opinions and comments. PLEASE HELP
Both are great skis. People will tell you a lot of bad things about the suspect, but most of them have not skied them and will tell you things that are untrue. Both skis are great for park and groomers, are camber, and are on the stiffer side of park skis. The biggest difference is that the ar7 has the ar50 sidewall which is cap construction in the tips and tails and sidewall underfoot. The suspect has a full sidewall. This will help a little bit on the ice. As far as performance in the park, they are pretty similar but people will tell you that the durability of the suspect is terrible. From my experience this is exaggerated so don't worry about it. Go for either one, you will not be disappointed.
I have suspects and i like them but the graphic on the top breaks in weeks, i think ar7 would be more durable.. but i think both of the skis look a like each other (sorry for bad english XD)
