Bridger is shut down today because of some in-bounds avalanches. They got 9" of snow with 1.8" SWE last night, and apparently that was another tipping point for the facets at the ground. Bridger Gully, Sluice Box, and Morning Glory Bowl all went to the ground apparently, here's a few screen shots I grabbed off their webcams.

Be careful out there! Although things generally stabilize in the spring, this year a lot of areas have shitty layers at the bottom of the snowpack that are failing. In SW Montana we've had quite a few big avalanches that broke at the ground in the past few weeks, and there's not much hope for surviving something like that. I just want to give everyone a heads up so we're all aware of what the snow is like this year, be safe!
