I have had multiple companies come my way in the past few months looking for someone to edit footage for them. I haven't really been in this position before and I don't know what a typical rate is.
I've been a little hesitant to ask for more that $20 an hour. Should I be asking more that that?
None of the editing is very demanding (adding music, logos, and titling, and piecing together footage). Also note that I'm a junior in College and edit these at home on my laptop.
