So I went on Look's site and I saw that they only have a 90mm version of the Jibs, but I need a 100mm brake, so I went on google and found these:
http://shop.aspeneast.com/browse.cfm/look-px12-jib-binding-with-100mm-brake/4,3485.html
I know it says 2010/2011 but can some one tell me actually what year these are from, and if they are good? That would be great! And also, they used to have the jibs in like 90, 100, and 120mm, but now they only have them in 90 mm right?
im not sure which year those were but i put a pair of PX 12 wides on my anthems a bit back. they barely made it through their second season and broke on my first day out this past season. i had a pair of regular px 12s on a pair of SPKs before that....they broke fairly quickly. might just be my luck, but i will never speak highly of that binding again
yep. i know some guys who've just heated and bent the brakes out on the regulars for the same width as the wide brake. i wouldnt try that myself but it can work
Wait so the regular PX 12's like the ones that dont say jib, like just the PX 12 wides or XXL's or something like that, those are the same as the PX 12 Jib's?
yep. The old jibs had a plastic/rubber dampener to help absorb vibs but it was just a gimmick for park rats. Any PX12 axial120 is the same thing minus color and brake setups.
