Who do you like more Pep or Sage

I am currently loading all the segments from Volume Video Magazine issue 9. Both Pep and Sage were profiled. I am stoked to call both of these guys friends and enjoy watching them ski. But which one do you guys like the most?

Keep in mind these profiles were made in 2003

Sage. best all around skier in the world.


best spine and billygoat skier in the world.
one of the best pure chargers
smoothest skier in GnarGnar
can still kill it on BC booters
and is super outgoing and funny.


Pep is great, but has faded the past few years...

i like pep he just has fun with it (not that sage doesnt) no poles just slashin turns, slow spins, fat skis in the park.

Personally, I would choose Pep. I love his style and he is just always so fun to watch ski. That's not meant to detract from Sage however, who I'm also a big fan of and absolutely crushes it. That's not an easy choice.

sage doesnt have any x games medals. pep has also had a much bigger influence on freeskiing. you cant not say pep. especially in 03.

yes i have. His level of riding hasnt been close to Sage's in the past 3-4 years.

I guess i have a hard on for Sage because of how smooth and beautifully he skis the gnarliest lines ANYONE is skiing ANYWHERE.


I mainly see Pep hitting some BC booters, and hitting minigolf lines, which imo is not super impressive.
