there was a really good article in this month's issue of TIME magazine, near the back. It's written by a black author and basically discusses racism and prejudice against black males. He basically writes it as a letter to young black men and explains to them that they have to understand that racism exists and while unfortunate, that they have to be aware and act accordingly and avoid potentially dangerous situations or situations where people would get the wrong idea.
(what happened to trayvon martin was awful, and i'm not saying at all that because of how he was dressed it happened or anything like that. please don't think i was trying to imply anything like that)
