So I want to build a really cool jump at the end of the year and I just want it to be really fun to hit and something new or special. I want it to be pretty big but I need some other ideas. And I have seen the Traveling Circus episodes with weird jumps.
i always thought it'd be cool to have a step down to step up. like something where the step down kicked you really deep into a pit and then right after did a U and whipped you right back up and out onto a bit of a plateau again.. and then you could have a little kicker off that back to the normal terrain again.
make a step up jump onto a big mound of snow which has a small step down jump on top which you jump off onto the landing. idk if that made since but it would be cool if you could read my mind and make it.
if your talking about building something in the backcountry i always thought it would be sick to some how get a rail up the backcountry and put it at a slight upwards angle at the top of a cliff...youd want some pow for that though
the rail off a cliff/cornice thing was done at mt hood in old snowboard movie technical difficulties. and some stupid pat milberry thing they brought rails to the back country and did dumb stuff with them.
My friends and I did this at a golf course in MA last winter. We got like 2 ft of snow on a snow day and built a kicker in and then out of a sandpit or crater type thing(whatever you call them.). It was so much fun!
