just hanging out with good friends getting messed up after a great day of skiing. thats how to have fun
I'm not sure about the best moment of my life, but off the top of my head I can think of one of the biggest missed oppurtunities of my life that I will never let myself get over. Towards the end of last summer me and a handfull of friends had a good crew goin on, we would chill as much as we could and blaze or just hang around.
One day I get a really bad stomach flu that keeps me up all night and I'm puking everywhere and so on. (My brother had it worse than me, I'm just glad I didn't get it as bad as he did.) Anyways so that was a pretty shitty night and the next day I'm already feeling better and the sun is shining brighter than ever, after being sick for a few days getting some fresh air and sunlight is like opening window shades in a dark room.
So that morning, the afore mentioned "crew" gives me a call and I had been chillin with them the whole previous week, so I tell em whats up, that I'm sick and gonna take a few more hours to recover. Later that evening I'm feeling much better, ready for the next day to get back outside and see the sun I've been missing out on. (sun is a very rare treat that doesn't come around often in seattle.)
As it turns out, that night that I had been hanging at home all recovered from my sickness, my friends still believed I was sick, and they were all hangin out at a different friends house. That night they had gotten high at said friend's house, then walked to a different friend's place which was not occupied at the time, so they had a few other friends over and got shit faced drunk hangin in his hottub just talkin it out. From his house, someone got the idea to go break in to the stairwell of the highest building in the city.
By now it is about 3am and they are stumbling their way to the hotel. This is the point where my firend told me he can't remember shit and pretty much was in blackout until they reached the tower. Once at the building, they ascended the stairwell to the very top where they somehow in their drunken state managed to pick the lock with a shoelace. From here they sat on top of the tower, overlooking the whole city and lake while that bright orange seattle sun I mentioned is just starting to rise over the mountains.
The whole night sounded like an amazing experience and I will never forgive the stomach flu for robbing me of this night. Since then, the westin management has gotten a better security system on the rooftop door so unfortunately I will never get to experience what they did on that night. I only got to see the pictures they took while up there. If you guys want I will upload a few when I have some time.
