no snow grinding

i was wondering anyone knew what you can you to slide on to pratice grindin i like your backyard when theres no snow. ive see people sliding on board like pieces and then grinding. does anyone no what that is or where i can get is.

That stuff is plastic substance from europe or wisconsin and is a lot of $ and sold in larger quantities usually.

alright this isnt like that close to real grinding but what i do is, get like a long steel rail, lay it on the grass, spray it with some WD40 ,put your ski boots on and just slide that.
Its alot less work then making an inrun and stuff, and its gotta help somewhat on like balance and shit

What I do is take a long piece of pvc, get it wet and then grind with my skis on. You gotta have something to push off of or it doesn't work as well.

Some people use astro turf and wet it down with soap and water as an inrun
