Freeride comp tomorrow. tips?

participating in the FWT juniors tomorrow in Verbier switzerland.
dont ski pow/baackcountry often, usually stick to park.
Any tips that anyone can give me?

When in trouble tuck for a double. Saves spinal cords everywhere.

you'll be scored much higher for skiing a line with no drops smoothly and quickly than stopping at the top of each cliff you huck. just ski smoothly and in control.

how much higher? i'm curious about how they score freeride comps actually, how does drops weigh against nice smooth skiing?

all depends on the judges and their set criteria. they should line it out at the pre comp riders meeting.
