No I think the pizza shop just adds an extra surchage of like 1 or 2 dollars that the delivery guy keeps.

they do but that $1 goes to the shop. i would have to pay for all the gas on my own.

I deliver for the busiest pizzeria in my area. i make 5/hr + tips, i get a dollar for every delivery i go on.

on a slow night i make 50 bucks on a busy night i make 100+

Ive worked as a pizza driver for the passed two summers and honestly think its one of the most fun summer jobs you can have. I honestly spend 85% of my time at work driving around in my car, listening to music, and smoking bowls. 6 hour shifts would go by so fast and at the end of the night you'll usually have 50+ dollars (on a good night ive made 120$ /claim) in cash that you can go spend on whatever you want. It really helps if your parents help out with gas too, mine were stoked that I was willing to work so I was able to split them. take the job mang!!!!

My friend used to deliver pizzas, and he said that if someone ordered a pizza and didn't come to the door, or prank ordered a bunch of pizzas to a random house that didn't want it, the pizza would come out of his paycheck. Not sure if that's actually something to be worried about, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

and when i say i get a dollar on every delivery, that means thats ontop of the tip. it's a delivery fee, the pizza shop doesn't keep it.

that seems a little ridiculous, guess ill need to talk tot hem about this and figure out the deal.

and the flap, they place a $1 surcharge but i dont think that goes to the driver. im pretty sure i would make the flat 7 and keep all tips, but the dollar goes to the pizza place

yeah at the end of the night it'll definitely have a pizza odor...or if your shop delivers wings, that smell really takes over

it doesnt smell as bad if it's in one of those heat trapping bags but you'll definitely have a faint pizza stank

Mine doesn't get that bad. i just have a black ice air freshener.

As for the deliver charge that's sorta bullshit but whatever. People will stiff you, you'll get regular customers and you'll know where to go everytime and the tip they usually give.

honestly i like it because my bosses own the pizza place and they're 28, both twins. but when we don't have a delivery were either cleaning or doing prep, or getting whatever they need from the walk-in.

we have sunday cleanings too, every like month we tear apart the place on sunday at 9am and literally clean for 2 straight hours, it sucks. but we get 20 bucks.
