Sorry Chaunceyskis, I couldn't wait to make the thread.

Post up videos of your favorite pros killing it, pics of some sick spots in your town, or videos of you landing a new trick, ask about tricks, give advice on tricks, discuss/review skates, and discuss the latest news in the world of aggressive skating!

Eventually, we could even use this thread for buying, selling, and trading parts or full skates.



First off, what are your thoughts on the beginning of powerblading? Kizer has just brought the concept into play in the aggressive rollerblading game with their new frames able to hold 4 80mm wheels while still allowing soul and negative plate grinds. Check the fourth and fifth edit for some powerblading shots.

Second, there is a lot of good advice on what type of skates suit you in this thread, as well as where to buy full skates/parts,(https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/615627/), all courtesy of a_pla5tic_bag

meh, i wear an 11 and i'd really like to size down for a tight fit. what size shoe/ski boot do you wear?

also, i have a pair of REMZ OS3's i'm trying to get rid of, they're size 12. the kid who sold them to me was definitely fibbing about their fit. $60 shipped.

loved the vibe, loved the skating... and loved those skates. probably gonna make those my next pair cuz i'm loving the blue.

quick question

I wear nike sneakers size 10.

I bought a pair of Razors Genesys size 10.5 and they were too big on me.

IS IT A GOOD IDEA to downsize all the way to size 9 because they don't have size 9.5?



a little more info, the 10.5's werent even worn till the point where they were broken in but they were still big on me, I wear sperry topsiders size mens 9m (not sure what the m means), and my size 10 sneakers ARE big on me.... like if i kick my heel all the way back, my big toe has a good half inch of room up front.

you should check to see what the shells are. I can't remember if the 10.5 is it's own, or if it's 9-10 11-12. actually I think it might be 8-9 10-11. They use common sizes and change the liners. If you got a smaller shell and it was too small the new Spec Ops liners might help you.

Yes, I have a pair of Genesys 7.3s also in a 10.5. They run very close to true so it really depends on how well your shoes fit.

I have been using murder 1 wheels for a while now and mine are really durable. I'm talking the dual duro ones. They might be a little slick when its cold and really hot, but is there another wheel a little more reliable in terms of temperature. When I say theyre slippery when it's cold, I mean like ice skating on skate light and concrete.

all i know is going from 10.5 to 9 is a change in the shell.

It's certainly grippier. I have the JC Rowe wheels on fluid 4's with undercover UHMW antis on carbon 2's. The roll is smoother as well. I'll have to skate them a bit more but those are my first impressions.

I think they look good. Plastic toecap as opposed to that trs looking thingy would be better, and the laces are kind of weird.

i wish i had footage to put out. it's what happens when you skate with one other person and skate like twice a semester at college, and work during the summer. ughhhhhhhhh

i really like the new eulogies, i went into a bowl i'm very used to, and i went so fast around it I fell the first time. they're grippier and have a smoother roll, and seem to be just as if not more durable than previous years.

when on the trampoline. Don't set up so much for the rotation. You lose a lot of height if don't jump before the whatever.

have to rotate my wheels. sooo lopesided because I been to lazy to do it. Anyways what is the worst spot or skatepark you've ever skated at?

Mine would have to be the skatepark in Edwards, Colorado. Full concrete, pretty good bowl lines. The only time I skated it was when I was on vacation and the park was packed full. Don't let this thread die. Too Valuable
