How fast do you drive?

usually about 85 max on the freeway, upper 70's cruising speed but sometimes I drive almost 100 If I'm feelin the need for speed in my 2001 4 cylinder saturn. In town usually 5-10 above limit, I'm pretty familliar with all the cop spots now.

I drive the same as everyone else, not sure why the OP is asking this redic question.

i have not gotten a ticket *knock on wood* /been driving for a year now (and i drive every day pretty much). heres how.
1. know where the speed limits change, like when a highway goes from 100km/h to 90km/h. cops like to nab people before they slow down. doing 120 is fine, but 120+ in a 90 = ticket.
2. it seems to be when you let your guard down there will be a cop. like every time you check your blind spot there isnt anyone there... but that one time you dont. theres someone there.
3. dont speed.
4. lax on the speeding nearing the end of the month, thats when they start to cramp down on filling their quotas. rolling stops are notorious.
5. drive in a group of cars if you are speeding on a highway (middle is best, they can roll up behind you and pull you over if youre speeding as well as a speed trap from the front), keep your eyes open
6. driving stick and refraining to upshift into 4th in the city is a good way to not speed because you dont wanna rev high (its annoying/burns gas) and 4th gear will get you over 80km easy (this tip is good for people who drive a nice car that can get going quick without noticing. i drive a bmw 325xi and found that it helps sometimes but if you have a 1990s VW dont worry about it ahha)

big tip is fight every ticket. get the court date pushed back as far as you can and if the cop doesnt show, no ticket... my buddy got a 35+km/h over ticket waved because he went to court and the cop didnt show.

yea. there are signs on the roads telling you have the new law. they'll fine you and/or suspend your license and tow your car on the spot.

Pretty much around five over around town. I'll go 72ish on the highway, unless it's a 70 zone, then I'll go 80. Just know which highways have strong enforcement, the general rule of thumb is that Sheriffs are pretty chill, CHP/troopers are picky, squad cars will get you more for rolling shit and having tinted windows, etc., and motorcycle cops are only on the road to get drivers so they're going to look for anything to get anyone. Also, game wardens, forest service, and park rangers have the same power as police plus more, so be cautious around them.

By the way, to the guy bragging about how he goes 85-90 around corners sometimes, I'm glad you enjoy it, know the road well, and know your car's limits, but I'm sure you'd never guess that someone is stopped around the turn waiting to turn left into their driveway. Don't drive excessively if you can't see around the corner because no matter how well you know the road, you never know what's around the corner. Even though you know the car's limits that doesn't mean you will be able to stop in time to not rear-end someone or hit the cow that got loose.

I'm a little bitch when it comes to city driving, unless it's my morning commute, I'm usually 5-10km/h over. Than driving on a highway, usually 120-130km/h, or with traffic. I was in an accident in the summer, so I'm still a little nervous in the city with lots of traffic

I would mostly agree with what you said exactly.

Since local PA cops can't use radar, you can pretty much go as fast as you want. i normally go about 7-12 mph over on local roads
