Saturday was money in the Gulch. Real surprised...props to the park crew for keeping it solid.
On a side note: not sure who they were, but a couple ninjas were there dropping knowledge...even pulled out a double front for the crowd off the third hit.
Not sure if it's cool this year (new park manager), but in years previous you could go there and set up a rail yourself and hike it (they had all the rails at the bottom of the pipe).
However, with such an early closing and warm weather, not sure how long that would last...and Cutter's Camp is this week, so it's definitely a no-no during the week.
Some homeies and myself last time I was there we set up an up down drop down drop down rail and a corregated to butter pad to a down box made of 3 boxes that progressively get skinnier.
But it looks like they put up a cannon this weekend.
It's not ridiculously hot there (only like mid-40s) during the day, and it's below freezing at night, so it might actually hang around at least until this weekend...but there's really no guarantee at that.
even if its does, theres more than enough snow on gulch to set something up, and if cutters camp is over than the pipe and bottom of inferno will be good spots.
