Hi guys. Before I start i did go to a boot fitter. I tried on the dalbello krypton pros and the krypton cross. They both fit well and they're very similar, but out of those two, which is a better boot? (I prefer pow when it's there and off piste skiing, not a lot of park) I didn't have the chance to try on full tilts, but I was told they fit the same as the Dalbellos. So i was wondering how the Dalbellos compare to the full tilts in terms of quality. Also I searchbarr'd and the other threads just said which brand was better but didn't give any reasons. Thanks!
they dont really fit the same.. i tried on krypton pro's and they made me feet feel like crap while my fulltilt seth feels amazing, thats just me though. I would say dalbello are much better in quality than ft. so if you liked the fit of dalbello, go for it!
Full Tilts have lousy buckles, avoid them. If you can fit and be comfortable in a Dalbello, stick with that. From there, it only comes down to how stuff you want your boot for the type of skiing you do
I have full tilt classics and love em. I havent had any bad experiences with the buckles yet (knock on wood), but full tilt does have some boots with metal buckles.
dalbellos are better. The krypton shell us pretty much an updated ft shell. the buckles are stronger and better placed so the skis feel like a part of you. the shells are thicker and can fit a variety of foot shapes since they are very easy to punch out and grind. the hinge point is also lower so they have a more natural flex.
^Same here, went from dalb rampages to booters and booter is so much lighter than the krypton rampage and just fits me better. Very simple and playful boots.
So I was able to find a shop with full tilts just so that I'd be able to try them on, and the hot doggers and drop kicks both fit fairly well, so I've narrowed it down to the krypton pros and the hot doggers and drop kicks. The full tilts did however give me a little more room at the toe's and they were a bit more comfortable for my foot. Should I still go with the dalbellos even though they were a little snug, or go with either of those ft's because they fit a litttle better?
Alright so I think it's best to go with the Dalbellos, one more thing, how do the il moro t's compare to the krypton pros? (Those one's I haven't been able to try on though)
