Bentchetlers

not TOO fat really. But if i were going that route i would go JJs for an all mountain ski. They have the exact same basic shape and sidewall as the bentchetlers (because atomic makes armadas skis) but they are slightly skinnier for a more all mountain feel to them

Actually....they aren't even really close to the same shape.

The last three seasons my skis has been 123, 120 and 118mm wide and I've never felt that they are too wide. I've had days when a skinnier ski is better, but never experienced any troubles. Skied everything from groomers and pow to big mtn comps and park.

No I ride 191 Caylors everyday (120 underfoot) and they are honestly the best allaround ski I've every used. The medium stiff flex means you can stomp all day, the bamboo core gives you so much pop and the ski feels lively and playful when I want but when I need it it's stiff and stable. These skis destroy wind effected, crud and any other variable snow condition. Considering their width they grip ice and slay the groomers (as well as my line prophet 100s at least). If you're wanting a fatter all mountain ski I would look into these.

Agree. They'll never be a park ski, but I've seen a dude ripping both jumps and rails on Bents.

have them. in tight trees or moguls that have been formed by lots of slow turns it is hard to get a flow, because they are too big to move for me at least. groomers are fun, be prepared to arc turns way longer than on a traditional all mountain ski. i would suggest the bents, a more traditional all mountain ski or even something like the tst, and maybe a park ski too. just depends how much skiing you do and if having one big ski is worth it. park i usually avoid on the bents just for the sake of fresh edges and bases.

one thing i can tell you is on jumps or cliffs having a big ski like the bents will blow you away, especially in the landings. stomped a few new flips my first day on e because they literally stomp the shit out of anything. tails have been stiffed in the last few models so theytll hold you up alright if you dont weigh a ton, even with tail rocker.

this is just what ive noticed, may not be completely accurate with what most people experience

yeah. Ive watched some kids on the local shop team lappin the park on them. They're actually really quick edge to edge though. The short turning radius and stiff camber helps the ski snap edge to edge making them feel much thinner than it is. The tip and tail are also stiffer than the JJ and you can gain more edge back when you roll them over than said jj. Overall its an awesome playful everyday ripping ski for an area with softer snow (i.e. western U.S.)
