Hey guys! Having trouble with this question.. It's a proof so you have to pick one side and work with it until it equals the other side. I can't seem to get it...
Cotangent X(Cotangent X + Sine X) = Cosecant^2 X
I got the left hand side down to..
[Cosine^2 X + (Cosine X Sine^2 X)] / Sine^2 X
or using my identities..
[(1-Sine^2 X) + (Cosine X Sine^2 X)] / Sine^2 X
I'm stuck there and I don't know what to do.. Did I make a mistake or am I just blind and can't go any further? Need help!
