Most durable skis for rails??

Hey, it's hard to figure who's making the most bombproof edges these days. Anyone have any advice? My Rossignol sprayers have held up pretty well, but need new skis,, edges are done. These skis will be park only.. Also, yes i've searched the forum. Also, please don't say Salomon.

First ski I've had in 4 years that made it though the whole season (roughly 85 days so far, pretty much all park, mostly rails). My edge's on my FRs still look REALLY good.

Armada has been the best that I have found so far and I have ridden salomon, surface and volkl as well.

i slam rails SUPER hard sometimes with my armadas and they have zero edge cracks. so i recommend armada, but i have heard oneps are amazing as well

My ON3P's have 1 edge crack after 70+ days of skiing rails in the midwest.

Just gonna give a shoutout to rossignol. I have a pair of 07 Scratch sprayers, and I've ridden them hard on rails, ice, urban, rocks and other random shit. The majority of the time that I rode them it was below 0°F, and I used to sesh boxes in my front yard at -20°F regularly. PVC rails explode at -10°F, so I'm pretty stoked my bases didn't do the same. I don't have a single edge crack, and i don't even have a fully fledged core shot. I have some deep scratches, but considering Fairbanks only gets like 12 inches of snow a year... I'd say they are bulletproof. I've also taken them on plenty of trips, so they've been banged up by luggage handlers, and shoved into the back of my honda and had ski bags thrown on top of them.

TL:DR - Rossi Scratches are made out of the same shit as this phone.

Heres what NOT to get: All Ninthward skis, Salomon Suspects
Heres what I have had excellent experience with: Armada/K2. From what I am hearing you cant go wrong with ON3P either and Line makes amazing sticks as well.

I reckon Line, even though i know its not the cool thing to say on here. I've had a bunch of park skis and the edges on my Lines have been bomber. I had 200+ days on my Elizabeths and they held up pretty damn well. 0 edge cracks. I did separate edge from base at one point but i epoxied it back and they kept on going for the rest of the season. Now I'm on Bacons and 0 edge problems so far. I ski about 80-90% rails by the way.

You might be good at keeping your gear in working condition, but Line skis are not durable. The fact that you have had to do fairly serious repair, like epoxying edges back on, should clue you in on that.

my friend fell pretty hard on his a bangs and somehow separated the tip edge after less than half a year of riding. not really sure how this happened, but i've seen similar things happen to the bangs. from what i have heard, the older lines that came out before a bangs were bomber. i see people skiing around on anthems from 3, 4, sometimes 5 years ago, and even a few pairs of invaders from '05 i think. anyway, thats just what i've seen, i myself have never skied lines.

after 200 days i'll take it, i ski rails almost all the time and i've had other skis last me 40-50 or so days, 200 is easily 2 seasons for most people, thats a long time for a rail ski. No other ski has lasted me as long. The edges would still be rideable i just happened to snap them and it was entirely my fault, i would have killed any ski.

I only have two cracks after so far this season and both of them came from one hard crash on stairs. No significant base damage, extremely minimal topsheet damage. K2s are bomber!

Nah man the older line stuff from a few seasons back had good durability, (anthems, lizzies) its just their current skate tech garbage that has problems.

LOL, right on brew. I'm on the 06 Sprayer. Was my all mountain for 3 years, now my rail ski for 2 years. Best ski I've ever had. No cracks but I'm not slammin super hard. Edges are so warn down it's hard to aim at a rail on a hard snow day... In that span, my riding partner went through a few pairs of salomons and finally gave up and switched to Rossi.

Open to new brands though..

I hardly do rails but my ARVs are munted. I would of had 60+ days on them and they're fucked. I think that's from overshooting jumps though, I tend to not speedcheck, just point it and hope for the best

anything but scott punisher jibs. mine were absolutely destroyed after only like 25 days. 8 inches of edge missing underfoot and probably 15 cracks

I can tell you right now that the Head JO Pros don't.  My edges are dusted (5-10 cracks) from 1.5 seasons of skiing mostly rails. 

The ski base of the ski midpoint (where you scissor rails and boxes) is also wasted.  I'll be riding them until they fall apart but unless the new Head Oblivions get good reviews, I'll be switching companies.

ON3P filthy riches are super durable. I think flashkick posted a pic of his compared to some other skis he had and they were still in great conidition after a season. I ride afterbangs and have been hitting rails with them for 2 seasons. The bases are still in decent condition andd the edges have 2 edge cracks, one halfway through the edge and one all the way through, but the edges arn't pulling out yet. You can take that for what its worth but there durability satisfies me considering what I paid. However, the Filthy Rich and the afterbangs are on opposite sides of the quality/price spectrum. If you have the money, ON3P all the way. I ride jeffrey's as my east coast powder/all mountain ski and they shred. Most fun thing I've ever strapped to my feet.

80+ days of rails and they're almost like new. Not too mention it's been HOT on the East Coast this season...hot rails=hell on edges. Most durable skis I've ever had and ever seen.
