Where about? And I'll be working somewhere near my cape house all summer except for 3 weeks when I'll be doing an internship thing on the vineyard. Should be a productive summer.
i have the same one! so fun to do flips off of and shit. between me and all my friends, we have like 5-6 lines, so last summer we went to the park and set them all up, just walking all over the park and jumpin from line to line. so much fun
haha thats sounds sick ! we had 3 going in the park the other day it was pretty fun. yeah goal for the summer is flip off, we literally got them 3 weeks ago and haven't been on them too too much, but its definitely going to happen
Leave May 12th to Warsaw, Poland to set up broadcast equipment for the Euro cup. Then Leave to Auckland on the 31st for a weeks vacation before I start set up for Sky NZ in Auckland for more broadcast. Then!...back to Warsaw on June 29th for a couple days of tear out, then to London (on July 4th) for set up at BBC/IBC for the Olympic Games. And finally finish my business trip on the 18th of July and head back home.
From there, I buy a longboard, and get my bike back up and running, along with see my lady. Then basically work and bomb around and do fun stuff..
Maybe Windells (Adult Camp) in August.
Maybe road trip to Vancouver Island in late August.
Then, since I'll be done school, just work and work and work and save up for that ski season.
After a week of prep fly out to Belize to study the Howler monkeys for 3 weeks. We stay at a hotel right on the beach and get to take a boat up into the jungle every day. Also get to visit the zoo, a couple of wildlife sanctuaries and go snorkeling in the reef. Plus the trip counts as four classes so it's essentially a semester of school.
Then spend another 3 weeks backpacking around Honduras and Nicaragua. Get my scuba license, try some surfing, see cool places and meet cool people.
Head back home for the rest of the summer, end up in Vancouver or Whistler depending where I can find a job. In either case make use of easy access to beaches and the forest and get back in shape. Go on some cool scrambles in the area. Re-learn how to drive and get my full license. Go to the folk fest, jazz fest and maybe bumbershoot/live in squamish if funds permit.
Broadcast Systems and Equipment. Looking at those plans, I kinds wish I made plans to stay in London for an extra day or two, oh well. I'm sure I'll go back in the future.
Currently a double major in primatology and ecology. I'm hoping this trip will help me decide whether primatology is something I want to pursue further (i.e. grad school) or whether I should start working towards something like environmental consulting/conservation work.
driving across the country with the coolest girl in the world, staying in Hood for a week, then hawaii for a week. the rest of the summer will be camping, wakeboarding, mtb, and of course...
Going to Tortola as soon as school ends, sailing to Bermuda then to rhode island. Doing some serious tuna fishing and sailing in mablehead. Then I'm going to long island for my job as a sailboat captain.
Road trip to Yosemite (I live in Missouri). Climb. Get a summer jib thaaaaaaang. Get a job in Colorado. Eat Ramen Noodles. Flip off the hippies who tell me it's not nutritious.
Nah. Haven't had a real summer job since the start of the summer in 09. If I worked all summer I'd have money but not be able to get the time off to use it anywhere.
Pumped though. Hoping to sell enough posters at roo to pay for my summer.
got a new job im looking forward to starting. really looking forward to having a break from school. once i get home from work ill be done for the day and can relax. gonna put some serious work into the house, yard, and car. gonna be playing hockey 2 or 3 times a week. gonna be nice to just have some time to relax.
working 45-70 hour weeks at my finance job, then a 4 hour commute each day on top of that--being misrable with no life...anyone in school still dont do finance
Moving to Switzerland for the summer. Traveling through europe for 5 months. Including England during the olympics. Then back to my tough life of living in Mammoth.
Key to happiness. Own your own business so you can do whatever the fuck you please when you please.
hopefully taking a trip with theabortionator to Summer Camp and Wakarusa in late May, then Bisco, Vibes, Falcon Ridge, Bass Island. and as much cliff jumping (hoping to break 70 feet, won't be easy to find that cliff if there even is one in Connecticut), mountain biking (mostly cross country), dirtbiking, and skateboarding as possible. and a whole bunch of hiking/camping.
Driving out to Mt hood from VT with my homie then working at MHSSC all summer until august, then driving to Utah to attend Westminster Colllege in SLC for my first year
