WSU vs. UW

im having trouble deciding where to go. I know UW is a looked at as better but im looking for some personal expierences people may have. I love WSU campus and the fact it snows a hell of a lot more there in the winter. But UW is in Seattle and close to my home mountain. What are your guys's thoughts

UW's academic reputation and programs sold it for me. I'm planning on studying meteorology or engineering there. Plus Seattle is cool and the mountains are closer than in Olympia. Haters gonna hate.
