Algerian Jihadist responsible for France wave of shootings
Children, innocent civilians and classic paki-made tactics America sent a flash warning to France when this guy moved back to France from Afghanistan after completing training camps and escaping from a Khandhar prison. Despite this th French gov. Consistently informed the media they believed was the work of domestic neo natzis. Surprise surprise he's an admitted Al Queda operative who murders people "in retribution for the Palestinian children".... Wake up call. He's since shot 3 cops as they tried to raid his appt.
Soo you have no examples of capitalist terrorism? Kindly get the fuck out this is about a threat that actually exisists. Your analogy is retarded. It infers islamic terrorism is a result of occupation if you actually believe that your a brain washed idiot.
so "they" hate us for no reason and we have never interfered with their lives? go read a book about (pseudo-)colonialism in the middle east, how it was in the crosshair of both wws because of its oil and how often the people there got fucked over. just a minor example because you apparently cannot live without easy exqmples, the creation of the iraq as a nation by western countries forced groups that hate each other into one political unit while giving one of them the power. obviously tht didnt work out so well and let to millions of deaths under its leaders and in the consequence of both gulf wars
French police killed the culprit this morning. One less scumbag, regardless of religion. However this is not going to help any islamic cause in france. For this to happen in a country that is already tense is bad news for them.
you sound extremely ignorant right now; the fact that you see occupation as the catalyst for terrorism is very disheartening. there seriously needs to be more education about the middle east
secondly, you do realize this dude wasnt carrying out a jihad or anything right? the title of this thread is misleading..
for anyone wondering, a jihad (as it is interpreted in most western countries) is kind of like a holy war to protect islam, and is the only way muslims are allowed to commit violent acts (according to the quran).
i did read your post, if you see occupation as the reason why these terrorists are active then you are completely ignoring the last century of bullshit that the western world has put the middle east through
Because when guns are illegal the only people who access to them are criminals and cops. This gets proven all the time in Europe. It's not hard to find and buy a firearm unless of course your a legal, responsible, well to do member of society then you have to pay shit tons of money, fill out paperwork and hope the government approves you
Appoligists like you make me laugh. What do you know about Islam of the spiritual meaning of jihad. It's not the translation of the word that matters its the interpretation and actions that matter and the unadulterated fact is that terrorists kill people and blow things up and justify it as jihad all the time. You probably also would argue the Koran and Hadith are inherently non violent texts.... Well guess what that doesn't fucking matter when Mahmoud and Samir are interpreting their C4 and ball bearings experiment asa holy martyrdom.
He fucking personally claims to be an al Queda operative. He was trained by fanatics in Pakistan he escaped in a Taliban jail break in khandahar that involved suicide bombings. He was killing for Palestinian children he claims. Sounds like defense of Islam/ holy war to me. When does one become a jihadist in your mind?
dude are you fucking serious haha the fact is that this guy wasnt carrying out a jihad. no shit thats what terrorists use to justify their actions, theyre working off a version of islam so skewed that it isnt even islam any more. youre working on the basis that wahhabism and other crazy derivatives are the same religion that 99% of the middle eastern muslims practice, which is just straight up not true.
Simple answer. No. Gun laws only make it harder for honest people to acquire weapons. Criminals and people willing break the law will always have the option to buy illegal guns
Attention Matt, my thread is about Islamic extremism and jihadists. You are not an authority on what is and isn't jihad. This guy is a grade A terrorist I'm not talking about Islam as a whole and never have been. Is that really all can come up with trying to divert this discussion and pretend I'm talking about all Muslims come on
Oh ya how do you know? You seem to have a very specific definition of jihad. Let me specifiy I'm talking about jihad and all interpretations of it which includes bat shit evil terrorists justifying their actions
dude you just dont seem to get it, a jihad is a thing, not just some ambiguous word tossed around in relation to islam. when a jihad is called, a cleric approves it and sends whoever out to fulfill the jihad itself, which usually involves killing some people or doing whatever they think they need to do in order to protect islam or some shit. there was no evidence that this guy was on a jihad, he didnt say he was, so theres no other reason to call him a jihadist.
here is an interesting article which mentions some of the stuff were discussing, it looks like most people just seem him as a fucked up dude who had a bad life or whatever, though i think one person in the article does describe him as a desperate jihadist at some point
I'm not going to go back and forth anymore about the definition of jihad I think we both know you are not an authority on this subject based on your black and white definition. You need only google the word to realize its definition is hotly debated throughout the Muslim world. So let's see your sources. People like you can't make excuses for this religion for ever.
how can you say youre not talking about the religion as a whole and then repeatedly refer to the entire religion? thats just hypocritical. secondly, i dont know why youre arguing with me about the jihad thing, it seems to me that either you just really like arguing, or are trying to brand all of islam with something it doesnt deserve.
Breaking: Haqqani network linked group takes responsibility and claims attack on multiple jihadist websites. Using the operatives assumed suedo name from when he trained in the af-pak theater.
Statement: On Tuesday, 19 March, one of the knights of Islam, our brother Yusuf al-Firansi [the French], we ask Allah to accept him, went out in an operation that shook the foundations of Zio-Crusaderdom in the whole world and filled the hearts of the enemies of Allah with fear. While we claim our responsibility for these blessed operations, we say that the crimes that Israel is committing against our people in the pure land of Palestine, and in Gaza in particular, will not pass without punishment. The mujahideen everywhere are determined to retaliate for every drop of blood that was spilled unjustly and aggressively in Palestine, Afghanistan, and other Muslim countries.

other terrorist networks always claim responsibility, and the person they say did it isnt the same guy.. dont know what youre trying to prove. merah already claimed sole responsibilty for all of the killings.
He was trained as a tactician and someone groomed him and handled his training if this isn't a success for them what is? Just because he thinks he deserves all credit doesn't mean the funders, trainers, and other people involved in his assension to terrorism isn't jumping with glee and grooming new ones after this great success
"Merah is known to have spent time in both Afghanistan and Pakistan, and is said to have attended training camps in Waziristan, so it is possible that he interacted with Jund al Khilafah in the past. However there is no evidence available to confirm that this has happened, nor has there been any indication at this time that Merah went by the name Yusuf al Firansi."
Terrorism is with out a doubt a result of and consequently heightened by; occupation between both World Wars, the creation of Israel and the expansion of western culture (which is most certainly an indirect form occupation). Also the Hadith is not a single text and most Muslims will tell you violent Hadiths are not valid Hadith. Just saw that you might have been confused on this idea above and thought I'd help you out for when you reference it in the future. Have a nice day
From another thread but applies even more so to your argument.
Your analogy makes no sense. Besides the few dictators that have
been recently disposed of, the Middle East has been dominated by fervent
Islamic law for the past few decades. To say that Islamic law is
backwards would be an understatement. In Afghanistan, militants fight for their Islamic right to stone adulterous women to death and butcher their own people with Soviet weapons. Iran does this on a state-wide level as well. If Islam is not reformed
drastically soon, it stands to be the most retrograde force on Earth.
The chance of such reform, such as Christianity underwent during the
renaissance and enlightenment, seems highly unlikely.
Therefore I think it is safe to say that Islam has become the most
hateful, retrograde force that exists in the world. It is the greatest
threat to free society, on a level beyond the communism of the 20th
century. The only option is to contain it as best possible. Most Muslims
do not subscribe to this view point, but the fact that militant Islam
is preached with such impunity across the Middle East, often with state
support, begs the question as to whether Islam as a whole has once again
become a militant faith. In fact, there are many Muslims who are good
people, but they are paralyzed by their faith.
You're an apologist, same old shit I've heard 100 times before. 'Why do they hate us so?", "Maybe we should just be more caring and understanding of the poor misunderstood Muslims!" "It must be us that have done something wrong!" Fuck that. I've watched journalists have their heads sliced off on camera in the name of Allah, I've watched women be stoned to death by whole communities of Muslims following Islamic law, I've personally been at the scene of a terrorist attack carried out in the name of Allah. Don't tell me I don't fucking know what I'm talking about. You've been so severely brainwashed by multiculturalism it's disgusting. Every other day it seems there's a fatwa made by some ayatollah or another calling for the massacre of Jews and Westerners.
Here's a video that was posted by another member in another thread related to Islam, it's pretty spot on as far as the whole "moderate" Muslim argument. Muslims basically feel like they have a special right to be offended.
You cannot be serious. They're quoting leaders of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in there? Talking about Islam as a religion of peace? Are you fucking kidding me? Hamas is responsible for thousands of civilian deaths. Al Qaeda is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, the #1 man in Al Qaeda right now Ayman al-Zawahiri used to be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, which I might add was a group formed by a man who idolized Hitler.
Did they really quote Ayatollah Khamenei in there? The man who in his own words has ordered the complete annihilation of all Israel?
CAIR? You mean those scum who send funds to Hamas and other terrorist organizations money from the US? I definitely take them seriously.
I don't think I've seen more garbage in all my life.
