I'm looking for a pow oriented ski next season. i'm 5'11 and around like 130 pounds. I need help. Right now i'm leaning towards the Ghost Chants. Which ski is better for pow skiing? and which one is the most versatile for skiing on groomers getting to the pow runs? +k for good help. Thanks for your help.

I wouldn't even think about getting Ghost Chants unless I knew I was skiing at least a foot of pow every time I used them, and had other skis for otherwise. I've owned Bibby's and they rip the whole mountain and float very well in the pow. Night Trains will float even better in the really deep stuff but would be a bit of a cow anywhere else. At 118mm the Bibby's are as wide as you'll ever need at any resort, and by far the most versatile. Unlike the Night Train, the Bibby still has camber underfoot, instead of flat underfoot, and will give you way better power and grip through your turns on the hard stuff. For the resort I would absolutely recommend the Bibby.

At your weight I don't think there would be much of an issue with using a softer ski like a ghost chant

Continuing (ns mobile issues) I would not re comend a ghost chant as a daily driver to put it into perspective I would buy it if I knew I was going to be multiple Japow trips. I think you would really enjoy the bibby pros versatility

Bibbys, I know a kid your size who has them as his daily driver, along with pow and big mountain. Get a 185

chants if you know its going to be soft and all fresh, bibbys are stiffest out of the three i have a friend who only rides bibbys all day erry day. i think the train is your best choice, its playfull yet stiff enough to stomp big airs and it also holds an edge on groomers nicely

i got the night trains and i LOVE EM. If your lookin for soming a little stiffer that chops though everything but floats in the deep go with the trains. got so much hype on da graphics too that cant hurt.

Nawwww Bibby's, like I said, around the resort and on icy groomers, a little camber is a godsend,
All times are Eastern (-5)
