Skiing in Europe

My family and I are taking a trip to Europe next year during my christmas break. What ares some great places (with decent parks) in Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Thanks guys +k for help. (I'm from MI)

Go to the 3 Valleys, France. You have the option of 3 super fun parks and a shitload of cool terrain and good food surrounding you if you get bored skiing park.

Tbh you would be better off shredding the mountain and taking in the sights rather than skiing park all day everyday.

If possible, try to travel. Skiing and everything that comes with it (food, culture, apres ski) is completely different from France over Switzerland, Austria and Italy.

some other great places to go for park are mayrhofen, laax, tignes(for the val park in the next valley but without not so much of the jumped up attitude of val d isere, and the tignes side/back country) les 2 alps for park and being so close to la grave, Val thorens in the 3 valleys has an awesome park and with access to a shit tonne of off piste. Saalbach in austria isnt bad and im sure more of the euro ns will be able to tell you about italy as i just dont know about it much.

are you planning on hiring a car? because if you do you can easily swap between the austrian resorts for a days riding, whether it be you base yourself in a place with good back/side country and then travel for a day to ride a decent park or vice versa it can be pretty good.

Have a look at Zermatt if you can (home of the matterhorn). Its definitely my favourite european resort, incredibly beautiful village, and not sure if you meant ski touring but if you did you can get that done there too. Plus it's the highest you can ski in europe (up to 4000m) and from the top you get a great ski all the way down to Cervinia in Italy.

If you get the chance to ski in Europe GTFO of the park. There are practically no legal boundaries (beside in italy) which would keep you from skiing some of the biggest and gnarliest mountains in the world.

Yeh we don't have ski area boundaries over here just if you are gonna go ski some big make sure you know what you're doing and carry the usual transceiver, probe, shovel and be prepared to pay for rescue. I know here I ski you can buy something with your pass called carte noir which covers my rescue costs if they're needed, definitely worth having just in case.

Vans penken park in Mayrhofen is really sick!

TC went there for episode 3.4 and 4.4!

I have been there once and it was great, you should check it out. The area is pretty good for pow as well.

^^ audi*. To clear everything up this is not a park skiing vacation. Its is mostly for powder and other terrain. I just want to go to some places that have them and check them out.

i just got back from switzerland and laax is definitely cool. i mostly rode mt titlis and zermatt which were insane

honestly if ur going to europe i wouldnt trip to much about riding park since the us has some insane parks

the 3 valleys in france are sick and huge! chamonix is insane and then from there you can carry on down to the aosta valley in italy to pila which has a sick park. austria is full of fun places like st anton and mayerhofen and everywhere has sweet night life. have fun!

agree with 3 valees, also if you get the opportunity head to les crosets/champery area in the portes du soleil region, the park there is B-E-A-utiful
