definitely disagree.

first off you called your tricks wrong haha. tom did one dub 12 and back to back sw dub 10s.

no matter how ground breaking it was, it was not executed nearly as cleanly as it could've been, whereas tom, joss, and bellemare did there tricks very cleanly. and 1 trick in a slopestyle run does not define his entire run. torin also did a left 9 as his only unnatural trick in comparison to toms sw right 9 and sw right dub 10 and joss sw right 12, which has also never been done in a slope contest but nobody seemed to give a shit about that. equally as deserving of credit.

i give torin mad respect for stomping a switch 18, let alone a switch 16 (which was even sicker than his 18) but i thought podium spots were on point.

no matter what judges will piss off somebody, just sucks that it was someone in power of writing an article. that was completely unnecessary in my mind. leave the shit talking to mindless n00bs on newschoolers haha

my couple of pennies anyways!

To me, regardless of all other philosophical arguments we could get into, this article is extremely flawed at this one simple point.

How could you possibly claim that someone should have won, when you are only citing one trick?

Forget the nuances to takeoff, style and landing of every feature in the course... you simply can not state that one trick should have won the day. If this was a big air then sure absolutely... but its slopestyle.

Logic /fail.

Having now seen that spin I am not a fan at all. Forget judging on the basis of one trick being whack, even if you DID judge on "best trick in each person's run" that wouldn't have podiumed.
